NCKU Hospital is an important national-level medical center for the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan region. It offers medical treatment services, cooperates with the government to promote policies, and cultivates outstanding medical professionals. Taiwan has gradually become an aging society, and how to promote elderly healthcare has become an important issue. Geriatric Hospital was established using NCKU’s existing Institute of Gerontology and Aging Research Center as bases. It offers elderly people a friendly and integrated medical treatment environment and cultivates outstanding care professionals for the elderly, thereby contributing to Taiwan’s policies and social missions.
