The building houses the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Resource Engineering, and Department of Information Engineering, interconnected with sky bridges. Compared to other buildings in NCKU that are north-south facing, the Tri-Department Building is slightly displaced by 15–30 degrees. The building also features uneven floor heights to produce a sense of rhythm and movement while creating a novel campus skyline and opening campus planning to new possibilities.
由材料、資源、資訊系館共同構成,利用空橋連接三棟系館,相對於成大其他嚴格的南北向建築,三系館採用與南北向偏差十五度到三十度間的建築配置,加上不同的高低樓層,不僅帶出韻動感,也營造出新穎的校園天際線和校園規劃新的可能性。
